Friday 26th September is Give a Swirl Day, the National Day of Volunteering in Ireland. There are already 130 projects registered throughout the country. You can check the online database for a project next to where you live.

The projects are, for example, a coastal cleanup in Enniscrone, tree planting in Kilala, a sponsored fast anywhere, bag packing in Bray, a school tidy up in Knockaderry ...and so much more.

So do your bit... :)

PS : I am not involved with the event but my wife works for Volunteer Centres Ireland, so I've been following the preparations and have seen the incredible work that was done for it.
